Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse specializing in Open Heart procedures located in Cypress, Texas. This role involves supporting a busy surgical unit with a high volume of complex cardiac cases, utilizing advanced equipment and technology. The position requires a nurse with a versatile skill set to ensure optimal patient care during a variety of surgical procedures.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; experience with vascular and robotic cases; ability to work 8- or 10-hour shifts; must be able to take call.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Endovascular and moderate sedation experience; proficiency in ortho, ENT, gynecology, and general cases; CNOR certification is a plus.
  • Float: Will work exclusively within the Surgery Department.
  • Additional Information: Support in general, orthopedic, ENT, gynecology, podiatry, urology, plastic, pain management, or eye surgeries. Candidates should be adaptable, team-oriented, and willing to assist wherever needed. The unit utilizes various advanced equipment including DaVinci robots, hybrid rooms, and ECMO machines.
