Job Details
- Position: Travel CVOR Registered Nurse

- Shift: 10-hour day shifts, typically 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
- Location: Tomball, TX
- Work Setting: Cardiovascular surgery operating room
- Healthcare Area: Greater Houston / Northwest Houston, Texas
- On-Call Support: May be asked to provide 1-2 nights per week and 1 weekend per month as needed
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of relevant RN experience preferred
- Experience in cardiovascular surgery, perioperative nursing, or operating room nursing
- Ability to support scrub and assistive OR functions for cardiovascular and general surgery cases
- BLS certification required
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive, dependable attitude
- Comfort working in a fast-paced surgical environment with varying case complexity
Responsibilities
- Support cardiovascular surgical procedures including CABG, valve replacements, femoral bypass, and thrombectomy cases
- Provide safe, efficient perioperative nursing care in the operating room
- Assist with general surgery and additional specialty cases as needed
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, surgical technologists, and OR staff to ensure smooth case flow
- Maintain a high standard of patient safety, sterility, and clinical readiness
- Participate in on-call coverage when assigned to support urgent or emergency cases
- Contribute to a respectful, team-oriented environment focused on quality patient care
