Job Summary: The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for a group of patients for a designated time frame. Care is provided using the nursing process, current trends, technology, and available resources within the institution's philosophy. The RN ensures patient safety, maintains accurate documentation, and collaborates with colleagues to enhance professional knowledge.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
• Illinois state RN License in good standing
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Additional Information:

• Provide direct care to CVICU patients, including post-op CABG, vascular, and ICU status patients
• Maintain hospital and unit-based competencies
• Perform hourly rounding on patients
• Proactively assist internal and external customers
