Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring an active MA license and prior CT/CVICU experience at a Level 1 trauma facility.

Details

• Work in the CTICU (cardiothoracic intensive care unit), a specialized high-acuity unit providing 24-hour monitoring and advanced care
• Care for patients recovering from complex heart, lung, and vascular surgeries or dealing with severe cardiac and/or respiratory conditions
• 12-hour rotating shifts covering days and nights
• 36 hours per week over a 26-week assignment
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
• Minimum 2-3 years of RN experience with at least 2 years in CT/CVICU
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Provide advanced monitoring and care for critically ill cardiothoracic patients
• Weekly orientation provided
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must complete required vaccinations including COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine (medical exemptions allowed)
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months before returning to any facility within the health system
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
