Job Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of nursing experience required
• At least 2 years of recent CVICU / CTICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Experience in a Level I trauma environment preferred/required as noted
• Strong critical care nursing skills in a high-acuity setting
• Epic experience required
• Must have been separated from the affiliated health system for 6+ months to be considered

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from complex heart, lung, and vascular procedures
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients in a fast-paced cardiothoracic ICU
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to support advanced patient needs
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized critical care plans based on patient condition and acuity
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status and support safe, effective interventions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate clearly using Epic
• Contribute to a professional, team-oriented healthcare environment focused on excellent patient outcomes
