• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week, with schedule made out about 6 weeks in advance and flexibility through self-scheduling
• Responsibilities: Manage patients in a 30-bed Cardiac ICU with a 1:1 for charge nurse. No patient assignments for staff nurses during shifts. Experience with fresh open hearts and mixed ICU patients is required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must successfully pass a proctored dysrhythmia test onsite on day one. Experience with Cerner charting system. Hospitalists and a 24/7 RT and pharmacy team are available. Floating to other telemtry or medical-surgical units may be required with floor-specific orientation. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
