Job Summary

Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular travel assignment supporting critically ill patients in a high-acuity intensive care setting. The position requires flexibility to meet unit staffing needs, including weekend and holiday coverage, and involves caring for patients with complex cardiovascular and respiratory conditions.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience and prior travel experience; Tennessee license or compact license on file at submission; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH certifications; intra-aortic balloon pump experience.
  • Additional Information: The 21-bed unit maintains typical patient ratios of 1:2. Patient populations include acute respiratory distress syndrome, pneumonia, withdrawal, and cardiogenic shock. Navy scrubs are required. Weekend coverage is required, and coverage of two of three holidays is expected. Block scheduling is not offered; scheduling must remain flexible to support unit needs.
