Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiothoracic Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care nursing, specifically within a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at a Level 1 facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Utilize advanced monitoring systems and technology to ensure patient safety.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and health management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CSICU or CVICU setting.
• Experience in a Level 1 facility is required.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Proficiency in utilizing EPIC electronic health record (EHR) system is mandatory.

Shift Details

This position entails night shifts, consisting of three 12-hour shifts each week from 19:00 to 07:00.
