Job Summary:
This is an ICU Cardiovascular (Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular) nursing position located in Phoenix, Arizona. The role involves providing direct patient care to critically ill patients on an evening shift schedule. The selected candidate will have responsibilities including patient assessment, planning, implementation of clinical care, and supervision of staff. This position supports the facilitys clinical leadership in maintaining high-quality, safe, and effective nursing services.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evenings shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 1 year of experience in ICU, with a specialty focus in Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular. Education requirements include a relevant nursing degree. Location requirements include being willing to work at the specified facility in Phoenix, Arizona.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience drawing blood in a clinical setting, competency in cardiovascular critical care, and ability to supervise clinical staff.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The onboarding process requires familiarity with facility-specific policies, including scrubs in navy blue for nurses, burgundy for Co-Patient Care Assistants (CNA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), black for Registered Radiologic Technicians (RRT), and green for pharmacy staff. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering direct patient care, supervising staff, and supporting the chief nursing officer in ensuring delivery of high standards of care.
