Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) RN position in Lake Havasu City. This role involves providing specialized care for adult and geriatric patients with conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, Stroke, Trauma, and other critical illnesses. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional to work in a Level Trauma 3, Joint Commission Accredited community hospital with 16 beds.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH. Education requirements include current licensure as a registered nurse.
- Experience requirement: 2 years of ICU experience required; minimum of 0 years experience with relevant skills.
- Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular.
- Department: ICU/CVICU at a community hospital with 171 beds, certified as a Chest Pain Center and Level Trauma 3.
- Shift: 12-hour shifts, days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Schedule: Work schedule consists of 3x12-hour shifts per week.
- Responsibilities include monitoring adult and geriatric patients, utilizing equipment such as Baxter pumps, and maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Required skills include experience with common diagnoses like STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD, Sepsis, Stroke, Trauma, and use of electronic health records (Medhost).
- Float: Float rotation may be required for the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) and Emergency Department holding areas as needed.
- Submission requirements: Candidates must be available to start on 10/19/2026, with end date of 01/04/2027, and submit a full candidate packet including their resume and assessments.
