Local Rule: Must live 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate

CVICU Unit Details
- 8-bed CVICU
- Ratios: Typically 1:2, with occasional 1:1
- Adult and geriatric population
- EMR: Cerner
- Floating required per scheduled rotation
Common Cases
- CABG
- TAVR
- STEMI
- Carotid procedures
- Complex cardiovascular surgical and critical-care patients
Equipment / Skills
RN should be comfortable managing:
- Impella
- IABP
- CRRT
- Post-operative cardiac surgery patients
- High-acuity cardiovascular patients
Requirements
- Minimum 1.5 years RN experience
- At least 1 year of CVICU experience after orientation
- ACLS
- BLS
- CCRN preferred
- Associate Degree in Nursing required
- Strong critical-thinking and independent critical-care skills
