CICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in providing specialized care to patients in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Cardiac ICU setting.
  • Administer all cardiac drips, ICU medications, and transplant medications.
  • Monitor patient conditions and implement necessary interventions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
  • May require floating to similar units as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care setting, preferably in Cardiac ICU.
  • CICU training is required.
  • Pediatric experience is preferred.
  • Current BLS and PALS certifications are required.
  • Experience with Epic electronic health records is required.
  • Candidates must be nicotine-free and able to pass a nicotine test along with a drug screen.

Additional Requirements

Flu vaccination is mandatory during the flu season; exemptions for medical or religious reasons are not accepted.
