Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse in the en_US. This position involves providing specialized patient care for individuals with cardiac medical conditions and postoperative cardiothoracic/vascular surgery patients. The role requires experience with advanced cardiac devices and operates within a fast-paced cardiac ICU environment.

Job Details

  • Position Description: CVICU RN responsible for caring for both cardiac medical and cardiothoracic/vascular surgery ICU patients.
  • Certifications/Education/Experience: Valid nursing license, 1 year of experience in ICU or cardiovascular specialty.
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Experience with Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), and left ventricular assist devices (LVAD) is required. NxStage experience is preferred. The unit has a 2:1 patient ratio and cares for patients with advanced cardiovascular devices.
