Job Summary
The organization is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Float to work nights in a Level III Trauma Center. The RN will provide high-quality patient care in a 20-bed Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit, supporting a diverse adult patient population with critical conditions. This role requires clinical expertise, flexibility with floating assignments, and adherence to safety standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

  • Certifications: Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse License, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
  • Education and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of continuous adult ICU experience, with at least 2 years in a similar setting. Telemetry competency required.
  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week, starting from 11/15/2026 through 02/13/2027.
  • Additional Information: Float rotation may be required, primarily in Medical/Surgical Units, potentially managing up to 4 or 5 patients when floated. The unit is staffed with attendings and residents 24 hours a day, caring for conditions such as Sepsis, Respiratory Failure, Cardiac Arrest, Renal Failure, and Cardiogenic Shock. EMR system utilized is EPIC.
