Registered Nurse (RN – General, Dialysis, Mental Health) –
Location: Grafton, OH 44044
Hours: 40 hours per week
Duration: Minimum 3 months (with potential extension)
Schedule: Must be flexible to work various shifts, including weekdays and weekends as needed
Position Summary
Seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide comprehensive nursing care in a structured healthcare setting. The RN will deliver direct patient care, manage acute and chronic conditions, respond to emergencies, and support interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients in a facility setting
- Observe, assess, and document patient symptoms, reactions, and progress
- Conduct nursing rounds and monitor vital signs
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and immunizations
- Respond to medical emergencies and participate in code response teams
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Perform specialized procedures as needed, including:
- IV therapy
- Dialysis
- Wound care
- Oxygen therapy
- Blood transfusions
- Tube feeding
- Catheterization
- Suctioning
- Phlebotomy
- CPR
- Maintain accurate documentation of medications, treatments, and patient status
- Monitor and manage controlled medications and inventory
- Assist physicians with patient evaluations
- Participate in staff training, orientation, and quality improvement activities
- May provide guidance or supervision to LPNs and support staff as assigned
