Must-Have:
- Must be available any shift/hours as they can change as needed
- Must be available all days of the week
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week
- Candidate must have no upcoming scheduling issues (vacations, appointments, school, etc.)
- Must be punctual and on the floor at the start of each scheduled shift
Description:
Provides professional nursing care to patients in a state-operated facility.
Observes, assesses, and records symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients.
Performs nursing rounds and takes and records vital signs.
Prepares and administers prescribed medications and ordered treatment plans.
Monitors patients under restraint and provides immediate medical attention in emergencies.
Counsels patients regarding the need for medical referrals.
Participates in staff development and education.
Reviews care plans written by staff and trains or orients new employees.
Responsible for the healthcare of bedridden patients, evaluating care needs and rendered.
Administers medications, including narcotics, and provides direct nursing care as needed.
Performs specialized procedures, including IV therapy, wound care, and dialysis.
Organizes and oversees emergency response teams.
Acts as lead worker in charge of assigned healthcare staff.
Engages in healthcare teaching and guidance for patients.
Promotes a safe and professional healthcare environment.
