Job Opportunity – Special Procedures Nurse / Imaging RN – Georgia

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays (7:30 AM – 12:30 PM). Weekend shifts and holidays generally off. Various shift start times available: 6:30 AM, 7:15 AM, or 8:00 AM. 10-hour shifts. On-call requirement 2–3 shifts per month.

Highlights:

  • Work with diverse imaging modalities including Interventional Radiology, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Fluoroscopy
  • Provide pre-procedure preparation and post-procedure recovery nursing care for imaging patients
  • Consistent weekday schedule with minimal weekend requirements
  • Holiday expectations include working 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve) per year
  • Opportunity to work in a specialized, multi-modality imaging environment
  • Collaborative team setting with variety in daily procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in special procedures or imaging nursing
  • Active Georgia RN license (or compact state license with ability to practice in Georgia)
  • AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred
  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
