Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) in the clinic specialty at Sheboygan, Wisconsin. This position involves providing care in a fast-paced cardiology clinic within a multi-specialty medical office building. The role includes managing adult patients with various cardiac diagnoses, performing clinical procedures, patient education, and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Monday Friday, 0800-1700, with a rotating half day off each week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS certification, ACLS certification, minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a hospital ICU/CVICU, cath lab, or cardiac step-down unit, or related clinical setting. Additional experience in a fast-paced clinic dealing with adult cardiology patients is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with outpatient cardiology care, patient education, EKG placement, Holter and event monitor setup, and ability to adapt from acute care to outpatient clinic environment.
  • Float: No float rotation required.
  • Additional Information: Orientation up to two weeks based on skillset and comfort level. The clinic environment requires proficiency with electronic medical records (EPIC preferred), cardiac monitoring equipment, EKG machines, and basic patient management skills. The role may include assisting with rooming patients, obtaining EKGs, and supporting patient education efforts.
