Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN CCU - Coronary Care for a travel nursing job in Urbana, Illinois.
Job Summary (in list format):
- Provides direct nursing care to a group of patients within a designated timeframe.
- Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver patient care.
- Applies current nursing trends and technologies in daily practice.
- Manages care using available financial and human resources in line with institutional philosophy.
- Performs unit-specific duties and responsibilities within the defined scope of service.
- Implements nursing procedures and theories relevant to the area of practice.
- Maintains accurate and current documentation of all nursing care provided.
- Conducts initial patient assessments and develops individualized care plans based on patient and family needs.
- Modifies care plans as needed through ongoing evaluation.
- Ensures safety of patients and staff by identifying and addressing safety hazards.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to resolve issues.
- Provides constructive feedback and supports the professional development of peers.
- Identifies own learning needs and proactively seeks educational opportunities.
- Meets all departmental competency requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of recent Critical Care Unit (CCU) experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Valid Illinois (IL) State RN license.
Med Ninjas Job ID #18450. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
