Registered Nurse - Coronary Care Unit (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Coronary Care Unit (CCU) within an Intermediate Care/ Cardiac Telemetry specialty. The ideal candidate will possess strong cardiac and intermediate care experience, ensuring high levels of patient care.

Position Information

  • Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Float Requirements: Yes
  • Call Requirements: No

Unit Information

  • Number of Beds: 20
  • Patient Ratios: 1:4 for Intermediate Care, 1:5 for Telemetry
  • Equipment Used: Philips monitoring system
  • EHR: Epic
  • Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric (No Pediatrics)

Qualifications

  • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
  • Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role
  • Skills & Experience: Strong cardiac and IMC experience is essential
  • Preferred Skills: Prior experience in cardiac care

Common Diagnoses/Treatments

  • Stable STEMI
  • Post-cardiac procedures
  • Medical intermediate care

The ideal candidate will be flexible in adapting to diverse patient needs and unit dynamics.
