**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Registered Nurse Case Manager - Specialty Surgery!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** Alaska - **Shift:** Monday to Friday, 0800-1700 - **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year **Required Licenses and Certifications:** - Must possess an active Alaska RN license at the time of submittal - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Case Management certification preferred **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care in an outpatient clinic setting - Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans - Administer medications and treatments safely according to provider orders and policy - Recognize changes in patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions - Educate patients and families on care processes, medications, and discharge planning - Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to infection control and regulatory standards - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate seamless patient care **Nursing Judgment & Clinical Decision-Making:** - Apply critical thinking and professional judgment in nursing practices - Perform and interpret comprehensive assessments, recognizing significant patient condition changes - Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise individualized nursing care plans - Maintain accountability for nursing decisions, tasks, and outcomes **Care Coordination & Documentation:** - Collaborate with providers and team members to ensure continuity of care - Facilitate referrals and follow-up services for patients - Advocate for patient needs and assist with navigating the healthcare system **Quality, Safety & Compliance:** - Adhere to regulatory and safety standards in nursing practice - Participate in quality improvement initiatives - Maintain required competencies and certifications **Teamwork & Professional Practice:** - Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and flexibility - Provide guidance and mentoring to staff, students, and peers - Float to various departments or assignments as needed **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
