Description:
Case Manager RN position available.
Must have Alaska RN license in hand for an offer.
The start date is ASAP.
Shifts are 4x10 days, with exact times to be determined.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Weekend work is required, with shifts every other weekend or four weekend days in a four-week schedule.
Candidates must float within the scope of job duties to meet facility needs.
Travelers can be called off for one 10-hour shift every two weeks.
The facility is a Magnet and Level II Trauma hospital.
Interdisciplinary support will include various healthcare professionals.
Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Daily census is approximately 324 patients.
Experience in care coordination, utilization management, and understanding of CMS guidelines is essential.
The role involves discharge planning and determining medical necessity per evidence-based guidelines.
Candidates must adhere to HIPAA guidelines and utilize appropriate coding practices.
Workers compensation case management experience will be advantageous.
This position requires flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work major holidays.
Candidates must provide two references covering one year of experience within the last three years.
