Candidates must have an AK RN license in hand for an auto offer. Exact shift times may vary but will generally be within a 4x10 day schedule. The position does not require on-call duties. Travelers can be called off for one 10-hour shift per two weeks. Candidates must be willing to work every other weekend or four weekend days within a four-week schedule. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The facility is a Magnet facility with a Level II Trauma designation. All candidates must have experience with Epic as the charting system. The preferred qualifications include experience in admissions criteria, care coordination, and utilizing evidence-based guidelines. Travelers must maintain a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility. Only one time off request of five days or less is allowed during a 13-week assignment. Candidates must be willing to work two out of three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. References from previous positions within the last three years are required. Candidates will float within scope to meet facility needs. Housing options should be explored in advance, as availability may be limited.
