- Awareness of healthcare reimbursement systems including HMO, PPO, PPS, CMS, and alternative payment systems
- Working knowledge of laws, regulations, and professional standards affecting case management practice
- Ability to communicate effectively and promote collaboration with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other partners
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and negotiation skills
- Excellent time management skills in a high-volume environment with changing priorities
- Intermediate computer and technology skills
- Ability to function effectively in teams
Description:
The Case Manager RN will utilize a broad knowledge base of health care delivery and case management within a managed care environment.
