Description:
This position is a float position.
The candidate will float to other units where there is a case manager need.
The schedule consists of 4x10 hour shifts from Monday to Friday.
The role includes responsibilities related to care coordination, discharge planning, and quality improvement.
Candidates must possess knowledge of admission criteria, medical necessity, and appeals and denials processes.
Experience with charting systems is required, specifically Epic.
Candidates are expected to utilize evidence-based guidelines and InterQual/Milliman criteria in their practice.
This role does not require weekend coverage or on-call responsibilities.
Candidates will work with a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
There is an emphasis on collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
