Job Title: Case Manager RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Case Management Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: AK RN License Required Certifications: BLS Preferred, ACM Certification Preferred Description: Case Manager RN must have an AK RN license in hand for an auto offer. Start date is ASAP with a 4x10 Day shift. Exact shift times may vary. First timers are accepted. Epic experience and acute care experience are required. There is no on-call requirement. Weekend work is required, every other weekend or 4 weekend days in a 4-week schedule. Clinicians will float within scope to meet facility needs. Block schedule accommodation is not available. Locals are not accepted; candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility. Only one time-off request per 13-week assignment of 5 days or less is allowed. No holiday time off for auto offer is permitted. Guaranteed hours are 70 hours per 2 weeks; travelers can be called off for one 10-hour shift per 2 weeks. Type of Facility: Acute Client Facility is a Magnet Facility and a Level II Trauma Center. Total staffed beds are 407. Charting is done using Epic. Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics. Daily census is 324. Interdisciplinary support includes many essential services such as Physical Therapy and Social Services. Experience with Microsoft Office/Teams is preferred. Required skills include care coordination, discharge planning, and using various medical necessity guidelines. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment.
