Job Title: Case Manager RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Case Management Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Must have a valid RN license Certifications: BLS; ACM certification preferred Must-Have: Epic experience Acute Care experience Description: The Case Manager RN must possess a valid RN license. The start date is as soon as possible. The shift is 4x10 days. Exact shift times may vary, but will be determined by the facility's needs. The role requires weekend work – every other weekend or four weekend days in a four-week schedule. This position does not require on-call duties. The clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs. Candidates must be located at least 50 miles from the facility. Only one time-off request per 13-week assignment of five days or less is allowed, with no holiday time-off for auto offer. The job guarantees 70 hours per two weeks, and travelers can be called off for one 10-hour shift per two weeks. The facility is an acute hospital and is recognized as a Magnet facility. The total staffed beds at the facility are 407. The job includes various responsibilities related to discharge planning, case management, care coordination, and compliance with regulations. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities as needed. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. Two references covering one year within the last three years are required during the compliance process.
