Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Case Manager Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience required License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: Required certifications applicable to the role Must-Have: - Experience in case management - Knowledge of care coordination and discharge planning - Familiarity with charting systems - Experience with HMOs and IPAs - Ability to float between units as needed Description: Looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Case Management. The role requires the nurse to work day shifts and includes weekend rotations. The candidate should possess a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience. Experience with the Epic charting system is essential. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of admission criteria, benefits eligibility, and appeals and denials processes. Knowledge of patient assessments, prior authorizations, and emergency department protocols is required. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide excellent care coordination.
