Job Opportunity – Case Manager RN – Alaska
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, day shift (exact shift times may vary), Monday-Friday business hours with weekend coverage required (every other weekend or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule). 70 guaranteed hours per 2-week period.

- Manage a caseload of approximately 30 patients across all age groups including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics

- Focus on discharge planning, care coordination, utilization review, and medical necessity determinations
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, social services, PT, respiratory services, and more
- No on-call requirements; floating within case management services may be required to meet departmental needs
Requirements:
- Active Alaska RN license in hand at time of submission (required for offer)
- Minimum 1-2 years of acute care hospital nursing experience (required)
- Epic EMR charting experience (required)
- BLS certification (preferred)
- ACM-RN (Accredited Case Manager) certification (preferred)
- Experience with admission criteria, appeals and denials, utilization review, InterQual criteria, and discharge planning
- Knowledge of CMS guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and The Joint Commission standards
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
