Job Opportunity – Case Management RN – Georgia
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, no weekends, no call required. Daily census of 20-25 patients. Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed.
Highlights:
- Assess, evaluate, and drive comprehensive discharge planning for adult and geriatric patient populations
- Coordinate services and ensure patients transition to appropriate levels of care
- Monitor length of stay, identify barriers to discharge, and follow Medicare regulatory guidelines including patient choice, IMM notices, and MOONS
- Initiate and re-evaluate treatment plans daily, tracking patient progress throughout hospitalization
- Opportunity for experienced case management professionals in a structured Monday-Friday environment
- Consistent day shift hours with predictable scheduling and no weekend commitments
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Georgia or Compact state licensure
- Minimum 3 years of case management experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers cannot be considered
- BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of discharge planning, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, utilization review, and care coordination
- Experience with InterQual or Milliman criteria, ICD-10 coding, and DRG classifications preferred
- Proficiency with electronic charting systems required
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Must be available to work major holidays as outlined in assignment period
