Travel Case Manager RN is needed for 13 weeks to start ASAP in a hospital in Alaska. Utilizing a collaborative process, the care manager will assess, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate the options and services required to meet an individual's health needs, using communication and available resources to promote quality, cost-effective outcomes. The care manager helps identify appropriate providers and services through the continuum of services while ensuring that available resources are being used in a timely and cost-effective manner in order to obtain value for both the client and the reimbursement source. Must have completed a program of education in nursing from an NLN approved institution. BSN required, MSN preferred. 3 - 5 years prior experience in nursing. Must be licensed in good standing as a Registered Professional Nurse. Current BLS. The successful candidate will be required to pass and maintain competencies for this position.
