Shift: Days | 5×8s | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Weekend: Every other weekend / minimum 2 weekend shifts per month
Travel Experience: Required
Requirements
- Active California RN License
- BLS required
- 2 years of experience required
- Previous Charge experience required
- Acute Care / Case Management experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Utilization management and resource management
- Discharge planning and post-acute care referrals
- Care coordination across the healthcare continuum
- ED high-risk patient intervention
- Prevent unnecessary admissions/readmissions
- Utilization review, concurrent/continued stay reviews
- Medical necessity, appeals & denials
- InterQual & Milliman Guidelines
