Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) – Kansas

Start Date: May 5, 2026

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM; On-call rotation includes 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month

Highlights:

  • Specialized cardiovascular operating room with 2 dedicated heart rooms and potential for a 3rd
  • Collaborative team environment with 4 RNs and 3 Certified Surgical Technologists
  • 1:1 patient ratio ensuring focused, high-quality patient care
  • Advanced procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR
  • EMR system: Meditech with CPN integration
  • ECMO program restarting – exciting opportunity to be part of program growth

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care CVOR RN hospital experience required
  • Active Kansas RN licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • PALS certification preferred
  • Open Heart and cardiovascular surgery experience strongly preferred
  • Prior Meditech experience a plus
