Description:
The Registered Nurse will supervise stress tests and start IVs.
The nurse will administer cardiac medications during testing.
Reviewing patient history and medications is a key responsibility.
The nurse will enter information into the Case Cart and electronic medical record system.
Responding to emergencies is a critical aspect of the role.
Assessing patients prior to testing is required.
Close collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential.
Common patient types will include both adult and pediatric cardiac patients.
The average number of cases per day is between 18 and 25.
No weekend, holiday, or call requirements are expected.
A one-week unit orientation will be provided.
Scrubs in any color are acceptable as per dress code policy.
