Description:
Unit has 2 operating rooms.
Staff consists of 1 RN and 1 technician, with 2 RNs and 1 technician on call.
Patient ratios are estimated at 1:1.
Type of equipment includes Impella, ECMO, bypass pump, laser for lead extraction, EVH, and rapid transfuser.
Documentation system is Meditech.
On-call requirements are split based on staffing needs.

- Joint replacement
- ENT
- Orthopedics
- Spine
- Urology
- Vascular
- Podiatry
- Thoracic Surgery
- Plastic Surgery
Additional preferences:
- Can also scrub as RN
- Ability to function in all surgical specialties other than cardiovascular surgery
The RN is responsible for observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for all patients.
Proficiency in charting, multitasking, critical thinking, and excellent bedside manner are required.
Dress code consists of OR scrubs which are provided.
