Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday; On-call requirement approximately 10-15 days per monthHighlights:- Cardiovascular Operating Room position in a 7-suite surgical department with advanced capabilities- Work with a team of 45 perioperative professionals including RNs, surgical technologists, and support staff- 1:1 patient ratio ensuring focused, high-quality surgical care- Meditech EMR system for streamlined documentation and workflow- Exposure to diverse case mix including orthopedic, neuro, robotics, general, trauma, and urology procedures- Supportive environment with dedicated charge nurse and comprehensive ancillary staff during shiftRequirements:- Active RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain)- Current BLS certification required- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience (Labor & Delivery only does not qualify)- Must have demonstrated experience in Neuro and Ortho/Spine procedures- Trauma center experience strongly preferred- Proficiency with various surgical equipment and OR protocolsWhy It's a Great Opportunity:This cardiovascular OR position offers the chance to work in a dynamic surgical environment where you'll contribute to life-changing cardiac procedures alongside a collaborative team of experienced professionals.
