Description:
RN must have strong cardiovascular experience.
The unit has 5 operating rooms, 3 open and 2 hybrids.
There are 15 staff members in the unit.
Staff includes Day Shift RNs, CSTs, PCTs, and on-call Night Shift staff.
The patient ratio is 1:1.
Typical equipment used in the OR is EMR - Meditech.
Typical procedures performed include CABG, AVR, MVR, aortic replacements, vascular procedures, and heart transplants.

Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role.
Candidates with CNOR certification will be considered first.
The protocol for on-call is a 45-minute response time from the phone call to clocking into the unit.
Weekends and nights are covered by call shifts.
