There is 1 hybrid room and 1 hybrid room shared with a cath lab. The staffing includes 7 RNs and 6 surgical techs. The RN staff consists of 1 clinical nurse coordinator, 1 PRN, and 1 part-time. The typical patient-to-staff ratio is maintained as per unit guidelines. The unit uses an electronic medical record (EMR) system. Candidates must have experience with scrub and circulate roles. Preferred qualifications include 5 years of scrub and circulate experience. Typical procedures performed include open and endovascular vascular surgeries. Complex cardiac procedures such as Type A dissections and CABG/AVR/MVR. Experience in VSD repair and Impella/ECMO insertion is required. Candidates should be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork and collaboration are essential to complement the department. Call and weekend availability is required.
