    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

    Webster, Texas

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a cardiovascular operating room setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
    • Assist with and support open heart and vascular surgical procedures including CABG, valve replacement, carotid endarterectomy, and ECMO
    • Participate in angiogram, fistulagram, fistula creation, and lower extremity bypass procedures
    • Collaborate within a skill-mixed team of RNs and surgical technologists in a fast-paced OR environment
    • Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
    • Fulfill on-call requirements averaging 4–5 days per month, including approximately 1 weekend per month; float to Main OR as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a cardiovascular or vascular operating room setting
    • Demonstrated experience with open heart and vascular surgery
    • Operating room experience required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with open heart and/or vascular surgical procedures in a high-acuity environment
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume cardiovascular OR
