Travel RN – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Contract | Days | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 12-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a cardiovascular operating room environment
- Collaborate with surgical teams to support cardiovascular procedures throughout all phases of care
- Adhere to facility policies regarding scheduling, including rotation of weekend and holiday shifts
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Demonstrate competency in CVOR-specific protocols, equipment, and patient safety practices
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Florida (or compact license eligibility)
- Minimum of 1 year of CVOR or cardiovascular surgical nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with permanent staff
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiovascular or surgical setting
- Familiarity with large acute care hospital environments and associated protocols
- Experience with scrub and/or circulator roles within a CVOR
