Contract | Days | 5×8-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) | Monday-Friday with Call Requirements
Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting
• Circulate during cardiovascular surgical procedures - ability to circulate is required
• Participate in an on-call rotation every other weekend, beginning Friday at 3:00 PM through Monday at 6:30 AM
• Fulfill a weekly call requirement of 2-3 days per week from 3:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License (must be valid and verifiable)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required - must be AHA or ARC issued
• Minimum of 3 years of CVOR experience required; 5 years strongly preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency in EPIC required
• Local candidates are welcome; 50-mile radius rule applies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 5 or more years of CVOR experience
• Experience working in a high-volume or academic cardiovascular surgical environment
• Familiarity with travel contract compliance processes and onboarding requirements
