    Job Title

    Cardiac OR – Scrub/Circulate Registered Nurse (CVOR)

    Location

    New York, NY | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

    Key Responsibilities
    • Independently scrub and circulate complex adult cardiac surgical cases, including CABGs, structural heart procedures (e.g., Bentall), minimally invasive procedures (e.g., Mini Aortic Valve Replacement), and heart failure cases (e.g., Impella)
    • Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients of all ages within a multidisciplinary cardiac OR team
    • Support a wide variety of cardiac cases including TAVIs, VADs, ECMO, artificial heart, and heart transplant procedures
    • Maintain proficiency in both scrub and circulator roles throughout cases
    Required Qualifications
    • Active New York State (NY) RN License required — NY license only
    • Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience required
    • Ability to independently scrub and circulate cardiac OR cases
    • BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
    • ACLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Operating room experience in a Level 1 trauma center
    • Transplant and/or TAVI/TAVR experience
    • Telemetry background (acceptable in lieu of full cardiac OR background when candidate holds ACLS)
