Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (5x8 Hours, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM) | Call rotation required (weekends and evenings)
Key Responsibilities
Provide perioperative nursing care in a cardiovascular and thoracic operating room environment
Scrub and/or circulate for complex cardiac procedures including CABG, valve replacements, AAA repair, LVAD/RVAD implantation, and MAZE procedures
Assist with thoracic surgical cases including lobe resection, thoracotomy, mediastinoscopy, and video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS)
Operate and assist with advanced specialty equipment including Impella, Da Vinci Robot, IABP, sternal lock systems, and camera systems
Participate in weekend and evening on-call rotation as scheduled
Work a minimum of one holiday per 13-week contract period
Required Qualifications

Prior experience in a teaching hospital environment at a Level II Trauma designation or higher
Preferred Experience / Skills
CNOR certification
Experience with robotic-assisted surgical platforms (e.g., Da Vinci Robot)
Familiarity with advanced cardiac support devices including Impella
