    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide skilled perioperative nursing care for cardiac surgery cases including CABG, valve repair/replacement (open and robotic), ECMO, and transplant procedures
    • Support thoracic surgery cases including robotic, endoscopic, and open procedures such as lung resection, VATS, esophagostomy, POEM, hiatal hernia repair, mediport placement, EGD, and GI/respiratory stenting
    • Assist with vascular surgery cases including diagnostic angiography, percutaneous interventions, surgical endarterectomy, dialysis access management, AAA repair (open and endovascular), visceral arterial repair, and amputation
    • Participate in mandatory call coverage, including one night of call per week and one weekend of call per month, with a 30-minute response time requirement
    • Float within other OR services as needed
    • Participate in holiday call rotation as assigned
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license with eligibility to work in West Virginia
    • Solid hands-on experience in Cardiac, Thoracic, or Vascular surgery — no new graduates or first-time travelers
    • Ability to meet a 30-minute call response time requirement
    • Willingness to float within other OR service lines as needed
    • Ability to complete a one-week facility orientation prior to independent practice
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
    • Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
    • Familiarity with ECMO and/or transplant cases
    • Experience in a high-volume, multi-specialty OR environment
