    Registered Nurse – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

    Contract | Travel | Days | 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: September 28, 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a CVOR setting with a 1:1 patient ratio, performing observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
    • Operate and assist with specialized equipment including Impella, ECMO, bypass pump, laser (lead extraction), EVH, and rapid transfuser
    • Scrub and circulate across all service lines including vascular, thoracic, ortho, spine, robotics, GYN, and podiatry procedures
    • Document accurately and efficiently using the Meditech system
    • Participate in on-call rotation as required, split based on staffing needs; rotating weekends may be required
    • Maintain ACLS and BLS certifications and apply critical thinking and strong clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced surgical environment
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license valid in the state of Florida (or compact eligibility)
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • Minimum 2 years of current experience in an acute OR setting
    • Must be able to scrub and demonstrate proficiency across all surgical service lines
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Ability to function in multiple surgical specialties including robotics, orthopedics, spine, and GYN
    • Experience with advanced cardiac equipment such as ECMO and Impella
    • Proficient in Meditech or comparable electronic documentation systems
    • Strong multitasking, critical thinking, and bedside manner skills
