Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room in Long Beach, CA

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Circulator in the CVOR, with 2 Circulators assigned per case
• Support cardiovascular surgical cases including CABG, AVR, MVR, and Thoracotomy procedures
• Utilize Cerner and Surginet EMR systems to document and manage patient care
• Participate in call rotation, including evening/night CVOR call coverage, with a 30-minute response time requirement
• Rotate for weekend call and holiday coverage as required
• Float within the OR to other surgical specialties as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience in CVOR or cardiovascular surgical nursing
• Proficiency with Cerner and/or Surginet EMR platforms
• Ability to meet a 30-minute on-call response time requirement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience in cardiovascular or open-heart surgical cases
• Familiarity with a range of cardiovascular procedures including valve repairs and thoracic cases
