Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular operating room setting in accordance with facility policies and standards
- Assist with cardiovascular surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout the perioperative process
- Collaborate with the surgical team to prepare and maintain a sterile field and appropriate instrumentation
- Adhere to scheduling requirements including rotation of every other weekend and holidays in alignment with hospital staff
- Function as a float resource to applicable units as directed by facility policy
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 1 year of CVOR or cardiovascular surgical nursing experience
- Ability to meet travel nursing contract requirements for a 13-week assignment
- Compliance with facility dress code (surgical staff scrub color: Ciel Blue)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiovascular or surgical setting
- Familiarity with large acute care hospital environments and perioperative workflows
