Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting within a 286-bed acute care facility
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties during cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe, high-quality perioperative patient care
- Adhere to facility scheduling policies, including rotation of every other weekend and holidays alongside hospital staff
- Follow facility dress code requirements; surgical staff scrub color is Ciel Blue
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in the state of Florida or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to fulfill travel contract obligations for a 13-week assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in both scrub and circulating roles within a cardiovascular OR
- Familiarity with high-volume acute care surgical environments
- Flexibility to adapt to float unit assignments as needed
