    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – CVOR

    Location

    Houston, TX

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | On-site | 24/7 In-House Coverage (All Shifts Available)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Circulate in a high-acuity, fast-paced CVOR environment supporting a 12-suite OR with approximately 20 cases per day
    • Assist with a broad range of cardiovascular and thoracic procedures including CABG, MVR, AVR, kidney transplant, robotics, peripheral vascular, thoracic, aortic repair, vascular access, hybrid procedures (TEVAR/EVAR, TAVR), Impella, IABP, and ECMO
    • Collaborate effectively with a large team of surgeons, adapting general CVOR knowledge to varying surgical preferences and techniques
    • Fulfill weeknight, weekend, and holiday call requirements with a 30-minute call response time
    • Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure
    • Current BLS certification
    • Minimum 3 years of CVOR circulating experience
    • Ability to work in a high-acuity, complex surgical environment with multiple surgeons
    • Availability for mandatory call/standby including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Scrub experience in a CVOR setting
    • Familiarity with Epic EMR
    • Experience working within a nationally recognized cardiovascular and thoracic surgical program
