Key Responsibilities
Circulate cardiovascular OR cases independently in a high-volume surgical environment
Assist with cases in other OR specialties as needed when CV cases are not scheduled
Participate in off-site call coverage; other OR staff will be in-house to provide support during on-call hours
Utilize Epic (Optime) for documentation and case management
Adhere to facility badging requirements upon entry and exit
Required Qualifications
Active RN license in North Dakota or a compact state
BLS certification (AHA)
ACLS certification (AHA)
Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular OR experience
Experience in a large hospital and/or Level 1 Trauma Center setting
Proficiency with Epic (Optime)
Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience circulating in multiple OR specialties beyond cardiovascular
Comfort working in a fast-paced, very high-volume OR environment with 25 operating rooms
Familiarity with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio in a surgical setting
